Gerard Boudot has presided over this estate heading the winemaking operation for the past 35 years and is the son-in-law of the late Etienne Sauzet. With just 8 hectares in the best vineyards of Puligny Montrachet, Sauzet has been seen for many years as one of the best white wine Estate’s in Burgundy. These are extremely stylish and elegant wines that perfectly combine opulence and concentration whilst retaining a beautiful elegance with silky textures. The Sauzet wines are dazzling, highly expressive, rich, without being heavy and they are superbly balanced representing a true expression of Puligny’s fabulous terroir’s. Not surprisingly and along with Domaine Leflaive, these are amongst the most sought after white wines from the Cote D’Or.
